Red Wines

Barolo Style - Sel Large and robust, this style is the one that lovers of big wines are looking for. Made famous in Italy's Piedmont region - highly regarded for its finest wines - this Barolo is rich in flavour and deep in color, with a rounded oak aroma that lingers on the finish. Not surprisingly, Barolo is a consistently popular offering year in and year out.

Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot - Sel This popular blend combines the plump, fruity, earlier ageing Merlot grape with the robust Cabernet Sauvignon grape for a powerful match.

Cabernet Sauvignon - Sel The noble California red grape. Rich in tannis, it produces a deep, full-bodied wine with intense aroma and flavour. A robust wine, perfect with red meat or wild game. Best when aged for several months.

Chianti Style - Sel The pride of Italy's Tuscany region, this blend is famous for its full, dry character and elegant flavours of cherries and blackberries. Sturdy and robust, with tangy undertones and a slight spiciness. Ageing uncovers its complex depth of flavor.

Domaine Des Brumes™ - Sel Fruity and robust, this deeply coloured red wine has the unique distinction of allowing for early consumption in the 'nouveau style'. A delicate wine offering immediate flavours of strawberries and cherries. Chill for 20 minutes to really bring out these fruity qualities. A widely appealing wine that is ideal for serving at parties.

Luna Rossa™ - Sel Bold, robust and intense: Winexpert's 'Big Red' is the largest, most full-bodied red wine ever released! A dark, inviting colour and rich, bold oak-enchanced aromas suggest at what is to come: an abundance of mouth-filling, chewy berry flavors. Luna Rossa is complex, with rich layers of fruit and solid supporting tannins, capped by a long oak finish. A powerful wine matching startling flavors and aromas with elegance and finesse.

A Brew King specialty blending a host of grape varieties, each contributing to the layers of aroma and flavours that make this so special. White Merlot - Sel Take Merlot. Make it a blush. Voila - a Merlot like you’ve never experienced! Fresh strawberries abound in the aromas and flavors of this medium-pink rose style wine, capped by a crisp finish that’s slightly drier than a typical blush. Bright fruit and generous acidity make it a brilliant food pairing wine. Try it with salads, appetizers, fruits - even BBQs and spicy cuisine.

White Zinfandel - Sel Complete with Winexpert's innovative F-pack, this blush favourite displays the trademark pink hues and a soft, refreshing taste that make it particularly enjoyable as a chilled delight on a summer afternoon. Must be tried to be believed.

International Reds

Argentine Malbec - Int The Argentine Malbechas found uniquely favourablegrowing conditions in Argentina and has no doubt created one of the most successful and delicious Malbec wines in the world. A combination of desert climate, cold nights, and irrigation of eternal snows fromtheAndes, creates an especially healthy environment for these vines. An intense bouquet of damson plums, blackcurrant and violet aromas give way to a slight touch of hunting and leather notes. This richly purple colored Malbeccarries a velvety texture with long, soft flavours. Although it ages beautifully, firm tannins and mellow acidityallow this wine to be enjoyed while young.

Australian Cabernet Sauvignon - Int The bold, individualistic style of Australia’s winemakers has unleashed the full potential behind the ‘king of red grapes’, captured here in our Australian Cabernet Sauvignon. Combines forward fruit flavours of cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant with a tremendous backing of tannin and structure. Rich and polished with a long, layered finish warmly accentuated with oak.

Australian Cabernet/Shiraz - Int The blend that made Australia famous. Cabernet Sauvignon’s structural intensity perfectly complements the ripe fruit and chocolate flavors of Shiraz, for rich, complex and hearty red wine of outstanding character. Big, bold and dark – a luxurious treat.

Australian Shiraz - Int The grape that was made for Down Under - its hot climate perfec for bringing out the best traits in this popular grape varietal. Australian Shiraz is seductively delicious, with startlingly rich, ripe aromas that deliver right through to the full zesty finish. Amazingly, the style allows for polished tannins early, so the young wine is not rough or harsh. The aged version retains the core fruit flavors of plums, cherries and blackberries, but gains extra polish. Pair this Shiraz with flavourful meals!

Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon - Int Our Chilean version of this classic boasts black pepper and berry bouquets. Notably flavorful, with tannins that develop with age. Pairs with beef, turkey, lamb and stews.

Chilean Merlot - Int Powerful fruit and spice flavor, with mellow tannins for a supple finish. Deserves ageing, but will develop quicker than Cabernet Sauvignon and will stand up to the same food pairings.

French Cabernet Sauvignon - Int The world’s most renowned red wine, from the world’s most renowned wine country. Deep ruby red colour, with characteristic fruit intensity balanced by strong tannins which, with the addition of premium French oak, results in a wine of rich complexity, fully realized with age.

French Merlot - Int Direct from the vineyards of southern France, this classic varietal is rich with ripe fruit and berry flavours, yet soft and elegant. Dry, full-bodied and deeply coloured, with a complex velvety taste accentuated with premium French oak.

Italian Barbaresco - Int Named for the village in Italy’s Piedmont region, recognized for its big, powerful red wines, full of tannins in their youth, yet aging into complex wines, with lush aromas, robust fruit flavors, and a dry, full finish. Similar in style to its Barolo cousin, yet more elegant and refined.

Italian Montepulciano - Int Montepulciano is a vigorous red grape variety widely planted over much of east-central Italy, capableof creating deeply coloured, rich red wines with blackberry fruit flavours and spicy, peppery tannin levels. Montepulciano generally produces wines that are smooth and mellow yet robust and mouth filling, with dependably high alcohol content. Superb with veal and pasta – an Italian gem you won’t want to miss.

Italian Sangiovese - Int Italian Sangiovese (san-joe-VAY-zee) has a bright red cherry character, overlaying strawberry notes, with hints of violets and white pepper. It's medium body and long, wonderfully smooth, tannic finish is livened by a zing of acidity and toasty oak.

South African Pinotage - Int Delicate and balanced like a Pinot noir, with the hardiness and robust colour of Cinsault. Deep intense ruby colour with purple highlights. Layered aromas of raspberry, spices, red cherry, and fruitcake give way to rich complexity of flavours including raspberry, vanilla, plums, coffee. Smooth on the palate, easy drinking

Spanish Rioja - Int Spain’s finest red wine blend from the famous northern Spanish region. Tends toward the traditional French blends, combining bright berry and spice flavours, deep red colours and solid tannin backup. Includes premium oak for a soft, dry vanilla finish. Delightful when aged.

White Wines

Chardonnay/Semillon - Sel A traditional Winexpert favorite. The combination of these two exceptional varieties with the oak additive gives a depth of complexity and character. Dry, fruity bouquet accented with a hint of oak.

Gewürztraminer - Sel This immensely charming, exotic wine is true to its German translation: spicy. Deeply colored and opulently aromatic, with an unmistakably flowery perfume and flavours of lychees and roses. Crisp, lush, and refreshing - a wonderful match with spicy foods, strong cheeses and fresh fruits.

Johannisberg Riesling -Sel The character of this fine German varietal is truly distinctive. Displays a flowery bouquet, complex fruit and cinnamon flavours and a crisp, clean finish. Versatile in pairing with foods, especially seafood, pork or veal.

Liebfraumilch Style - Sel Winexpert's new F-pack provides the finishing touch for this popular German classic. With a pronounced floral bouquet and a perfect marriage of sweetness with a slight dry finish, this startling wine is made for seafood and strong cheeses.

Luna Bianca™ - Sel Winexpert's biggest, boldest white wine ever. In the spirit of the great full-bodied Chardonnays of California and Australia, Luna Bianca is lush, golden and rich. Dense, luscious, buttery aromas dance up from the glass. Flavours of tropical fruits blend with the vanilla-oak backing - a technique usually achieved through barrel fermentation with extended lees (yeast sediment) contact. The high alcohol finished wine is smooth and mouth filling. Includes an F-pack with pure Chardonnay juice - another industry first.

Piesporter Style - Sel The town of Piesport in the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer wine region has an ideal steep amphitheater site perfect for producing sound, honeyed, delicate wines. Our version captures the classic flavour and magical fragrance of this respected German style through the addition of our F-pack and a special package of dried elderflowers.

Sauvignon Blanc - Sel Crisp and flavorful, this popular grape varietal has distinctive and immediately recognizable aroma and flavour characteristics. The famous grassy, herbaceous bouquet and flinty aftertaste are here, with the generous acidity that is typical of the grape. Steely, grassy, and defiantly dry, nothing can complement a meal better than Sauvignon Blanc, a unique wine that offers a definitive counterpoint to the ubiquitous Chardonnay.

Symphony A white wine with the incredibly intense aromas of melon, grapefruit, mango, peach, banana and papaya. The fruity character picks up a strong backbone from the good acidity, and hint of tannin, carried over from the Grenache Gris grape.

Viognier - Sel The intense fruitiness of this beguiling wine suggests rich sweetness, but it shows a surprisingly dry and aromatic finish. A delicate yellow color, tinged with the variety's typical 'green-gold' hue, it bursts out of the glass with apricot, peach and spice aromas. As it matures, it can also display hints of jasmine, honeysuckle, kiwi, mint, orange blossom and even mango! While higher in alcohol than many white wines, it drinks well young nonetheless. Lower acidity makes it friendly to a wide range of foods, but it’s 'soft but strong' character makes it excellent for sipping alone.

International Whites

German Müller-Thurgau - Int Developed as a cross combining the lively qualities of Riesling with the viticultural reliability of Sylvaner, Germany’s most widely cultivated grape attains rare heights in aroma and flavour. Winexpert's German Müller-Thurgau is crisp and clean, with a grapey fruit character, low to medium acidity, and a pleasantly fragrant aroma. The Chardonnays of Australia continue to wow wine drinkers around the world with their unabashed celebration of opulent fruit and vanilla-oak, full-bodied flavour. Our Chardonnay is no exception. Full, supple, buttery and fruity, this golden wine delivers from start to clean, lingering finish. Ideal with chicken, fish, salads and cream-sauce pastas.

Australian Murray River Reserve™* - Int A full-flavoured and intense white from the Murray River wine region on the Victoria-New South Wales border. Herbaceous bouquets and ripe, tropical fruit flavours come through in this blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Colombard and Muscat varieties. Crisp and dry, with refreshing acidity and a light hint of oak - perfect for seafood or Asian cuisines.

Chilean Chardonnay - Int Our Chilean Chardonnay displays charming flavours and personality: lively and medium-bodied, with citrus and apple notes. Versatile in matching with food, particularly with fine fish and seafood dishes.

French Chardonnay - Int The classic, from the country that made it famous in so many of its high-end white wine blends. Pleasantly dry, with medium acidity balanced with subtle hints of citrus and fruit. Includes premium French oak for a characteristic vanilla-oak structure. Has established a following for its unique balance of dryness, fruit and oak.

Italian Pinot Grigio Int The uniquely Italian version of the well known Pinot Gris grape, picked earlier in Italy than in all other regions and well before its characteristic loss of acidity at ripening, for a bright, crisp, dry white wine with a gentle perfume and a detectable spiciness. Fresh, fragrant and lively, its flavours include a certain flintiness with hints of citrus and almonds.

Italian Verdicchio - Int Verdicchio is one of central Italy’s extremely popular white wine varieties, produced from the astonishingly lively Verdicchio grape. Its name is derived from verde, meaning green, referring to the yellow-green skin of the grape, which gives the wine a subtle, greenish hue. The aroma is delicate, light and fruity, and the flavour is pleasantly crisp and distinctly dry, with bright lemony acidity and a fresh, elegant finish that cleans the palate. Verdicchio allows for early consumption and pairs perfectly with seafood and cream sauce pastas.
